Another myth has been broken? Harvard Research: Vitamin D and prevention of depression are not related

Yesterday (2020-8-4) JAMA, a journal of the American Medical Association, published Effect of Long-term Vitamin D3 Supplementation vs Placebo on Risk of Depression or Clinically Relevant Depressive Symptoms and on Change in Mood Scores: A Randomized Clinical Trial (Impact of long-term vitamin D3 supplementation compared to comfort agents on risk of depression or clinically related depression and emotional score changes: a random clinical trial).
About 20 years ago, a father of Vitamin D Wan Ling appeared in the United States. Under his strong promotion, Vitamin D was used to prevent and treat almost every disease in the body, and it is also a mental illness, such as depression, which is also included.
{9 99}In fact, before this latest article was published, there were 13 random clinical trials to explore whether vitamin D can really prevent depression, and the result was 12 to 1, that is, 12 words were invalid, and one said it was effective.
This experiment was led by Dr. Olivia Okereke, associate professor of the Department of Psychology at Harvard University, and 12 other researchers participated. This experiment was a random clinical trial of double-blind, with a large scale, and a total of 18,353 people (average age of 67.5 years, about half of men and women). These people under investigation did not have depression at the beginning, and then half of them took 2,000 vitamin D3 per day for 5 years, and the other half took comfort drugs every day, which was also for 5 years (note: they didn't know if they were taking vitamin D3 or comfort drugs).
5 years later, 609 people in the group of people taking vitamin D3 suffered from depression, while 625 people in the group of people taking comfort drugs were suffering from depression. In other words, in the group of vitamin D3, 12.9 people suffer from depression every thousand people each year, while in the group of comfort drugs, 13.3 people suffer from depression every thousand people each year. In other words, taking vitamin D3 and taking comfort agents does not have the "Difference in Ideal" in statistic.
Vitamin D was discovered about 100 years ago to treat rizzy children. In the past 100 years, I have done all kinds of experiences in fighting cancer, anti-harm, preventing the elderly from being stupid, controlling blood sugar, lowering blood pressure, reducing fat, protecting the heart, protecting bones, and even the latest COVID-19 (please see Vitamin D fighting the COVID-19, with two holes in one mouth).
As a result, vitamin D is the most effective bone protection effect. Please read the biggest analysis in history: Vitamin D is useless.
