The Times reported that Everton is increasing his interest in Gallish, hoping that he can revive his career under Moyes.

Glalish was told that it was no longer needed after falling out of favor at Etihad Stadium, and Everton has been watching him closely throughout the summer and hopes to reach a loan agreement. The clubs of both sides have held further dialogue to determine the specific conditions for reaching the agreement. Manchester City hopes to get rid of Gallish's £300,000 a week as much as possible. But that didn't make Everton flinch because they believed the players were willing to transfer.

Glalish, who is about to turn 30, needs to play regularly to enter Tuchel's England before the World Cup next summer. And under Moyes, he had the opportunity to achieve this. If he could regain his form when he helped Manchester City win the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup triumphal titles in the 2022-23 season, Glalish could bring significant improvements to Everton's offense.

Everton has signed five new players, but has encountered setbacks in the pursuit of Southampton winger Taylor Dibrin. Although Everton has been rejected three times, with the last offer reaching about £37 million (including additional terms), there is still a huge gap in valuations between the two clubs. Southampton's asking price is £45 million plus £5 million and a 25% second transfer share. Diblin himself is eager for a transfer, but Southampton needs to significantly lower the requirements to make progress. Meanwhile, Everton is exploring other options, and strengthening the right has been the focus of their summer.

Everton held its third and final test event at New Hill Dickinson Stadium on the Mersey River, which can accommodate 52,000 people. Moyes praised the stadium for being “very great” and hopes that the team will be worthy of the environment: “It will take time to fully adapt, it’s a great football field, a great stadium, and hopefully we can see some really good players and teams playing here in the future. It’s a great venue to watch, a step further than Goodison Park. It’s a positive step for Everton Football Club and hopefully we can continue to improve. We have built this stadium and there’s still some behind-the-scenes work to be done, but like the team, we need to build a team and there’s a lot of behind-the-scenes work to be done.”
