What are the key points of manual dry cleaning technology?
Dry cleaning process: After the dry cleaning agent was discovered, a manual dry cleaning process appeared, and then a machine dry cleaning process appeared. Without dry cleaning or preparation, some clothes that cannot be washed can only be decontaminated by hand. The methods and key points are as follows:
1. Choice of dry cleaning agents
When using manual dry cleaning clothes, dry cleaning agents are difficult to recycle, and they are more wasteful. From an economic point of view, except for using tetrachloroethylene in individual cases, most use cheap 120# solvent gasoline, or use high alcohol content. In addition, these two solvents are less toxic and volatile than tetrachloroethylene. However, both solvents are flammable substances, and they must be fire-free when used. Be sure to pay attention to fire prevention and avoid losses caused by fire.
2. Pre-staining
Before manual dry cleaning, the dust on the surface of the clothing should be removed. For local heavy stains, tetrachloroethylene and high-efficiency stain removal agent should be removed. Especially for water-soluble stains, high-quality detergent liquid should be used, or alcohol soap liquid (soaked with soap containing 84% lipopeptide acid and twice the alcohol). Dry cleaning can only be done after the water-soluble stains on the clothes are removed.
3. Dipping method
For some wool clothes with loose tissue structure, in order to prevent distortion and deformation, the clothes can be put into the dry cleaning agent solution and washed by taking both hands. This method is suitable for washing more expensive clothes. This method has a great loss to detergent. After washing clothes, the used dry cleaning solution should be filled into a closed container, and the dirt should be separated after precipitation, so that it can continue to be used.
4. Scrubbing method
For severely contaminated clothing, or for severely contaminated parts on the clothing, you can use a soft brush dipped in dry cleaning agent for brushing. Do not use too much force when scrubbing, and use even force. Brushing is an important method in manual dry cleaning.
5. Scrub method
Scrub method is to wipe away dirt from clothes with a towel soaked with dry cleaning agent, so that the dirt is dissolved by the dry cleaning agent and stick to the towel. When scrubbing, wash the towel in the dry cleaning agent while scrubbing. The dirt on the clothes is finally dissolved in the washing solution through the towel, so as to achieve the purpose of cleaning and decontamination.
