Liverpool Legends defeated Chelsea Legends 1-0 away from home. Former Dutch international Babel scored the winning goal. After scoring, he paid tribute to Jota by imitating his celebration.

In an interview, Babel said: "This reminds me of a lot of past events. Although I retired not long ago, it feels like a long time has passed. Of course, I enjoy the feeling of scoring a goal and the dopamine surge caused by celebrating with my teammates and fans. What a wonderful moment."

Babel spent three and a half years in his career at Liverpool, during which he played 146 times for the Reds and scored 22 goals, including a goal against Chelsea in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals in the 2007-08 season.

Babel said: "I always want to maintain that sense of confrontation, especially in a competition like Chelsea and Liverpool. You just want to win and go all out."
