In the final of the Club World Cup, Chelsea defeated Paris 3-0, killing the latter's possible "seven-champion" miracle.

Paris has won the "triple champions" of Ligue 1, French Cup and Champions League in the 24/25 season. The team was expected to win the "seven championships" at most, but was strangled by Chelsea on the road to the fourth championship.

There are three championships to compete for in Paris in the future, namely the European Super Cup vs Tottenham, the French Super Cup vs. Marseille and the Intercontinental Cup (the predecessor of the Club World Cup).
