Romano wrote: "The transaction of Chelsea player Amugu's transfer to Strasbourg has been finalized. The two sides signed until June 2030. Chelsea will retain the repurchase terms and not occupy the out-of-leasing spot."

French midfielder Amugu is 19 years old and mainly plays as a central defender and midfielder. He transferred from Saint-Etienne to Chelsea in February 2025.
