According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Tottenham Hotspur regards Xavi Simmons as one of the targets, but it is still far from reaching an agreement.

It is reported that Simmons is still inclined to join Chelsea and has clearly expressed his preference for the Blues to Red Bull Leipzig.
