Today, Burnley announced on the club's official website that Norwegian set-piece expert Parr Feld joined the coaching team.
Burnley wrote on his official website: The club is happy to announce that set pieces expert Parr Feld will join the first team coaching staff to prepare for the 2025/26 Premier League season. The Norwegian coach has previously held coaching positions in several Norwegian clubs.
Speaking about this appointment, Feld said: "I am very excited. It's a huge opportunity and I'm very happy to be trusted by the head coach and the club. I spoke with the head coach and made a very good first impression. He agrees with me very much and we have a similar philosophy in terms of set pieces and their importance."
More and more clubs are beginning to realize the importance of set pieces and their key role in the game, so it's especially important to invest more energy in this area.
Felder recently worked as an assistant coach at Denmark Vyborg and set piece coach at the Norwegian Football Association, and is known for his innovative and analytical approach to dead ball tactics.
As a former professional player, Feld has played for clubs such as Viking FK and St. Mirren, making more than 100 appearances before changing careers to become a coach. Now 30, he will bring his set piece strategy expertise to Scott Parker's coaching team.
