Villa will face the Israeli team Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Europa League at home in midweek. According to the British media "The Independent", the British police have arranged a large number of security forces to ensure the smooth progress of the game.

Since this game involves an Israeli club, coupled with the tense situation in the Middle East, the British police are worried that protests and riots may occur outside the game. Therefore, strict security measures will be implemented, including the use of drones, police dogs, police horses, and the establishment of a no-fly zone around the stadium. More than 700 police officers will be mobilized to participate in this operation.

Due to safety considerations, fans of the away team will not be allowed to attend the game at Villa Park, but even so, the local police do not dare to take it lightly. The Birmingham police also issued a statement before the game: "Any illegal behavior suspected of inciting hatred will be investigated and dealt with."

The police also reminded local citizens that since a large number of police will be present in the area around Villa Park on match day, related road traffic is expected to be affected, so people going out should try to avoid this area and re-plan their routes.
