What diseases will a dog get if it is not nutritious?

1. Correct feeding of balanced nutritional food (dog food) is one of the basic factors for maintaining dog health. 2. Common incorrect feeding or unbalanced food, the problems caused are:

a. Too little feeding: the dog cannot get enough heat energy and protein and other nutrients, the dog loses weight and is in a state of hunger.

b.Feed too much: overweight and obese.

c. Nutritional deficiency: Unbalanced food formulas lead to nutritional deficiency.

d. Poisoning: Some ingredients in the food are too high (such as fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, K or certain minerals).

3. Rickets or osteomalacia: Deficient in vitamin D, dogs cannot absorb and utilize calcium, bones cannot calcify, and bones become soft. Dogs growing are called rickets, and bones become softer, and the bone ends of long bones become thicker. In adult dogs, the bones become soft. 4. Osteoporosis: The bones become less, the remaining bones are calcified normally, and the bones are prone to breakage. It is common in dogs with steroids in old age or long-term use.

5. Obesity: The problems of obese dogs are:

a. Too heavy weight can easily cause arthritis.

b. Anesthesia or surgical procedure, the difficulty increases.

c. Difficulty in physical examination.

d. Treatment: reduce food, increase exercise, feed dogs with prescription food for obesity.

Balanced nutrition is indeed very important for dogs. If the nutrition required for the dog's body is not supplemented properly, it will definitely cause some problems in the dog's body, or excessive supplementation will also cause harm to the dog.
