When stray cats are adopted, do they rely on strength or luck?

So, do those adopted stray cats rely on their strength or luck?

Some stray cats win the favor of humans because of their good looks and cuteness. In fact, stray cats mostly rely on luck to be adopted, and sometimes they also need to rely on their own efforts to seize this chance of survival.

A woman, under pressure from her whole family, adopts a cat that is both unattractive and paralyzed.

The adoption rate of stray cats is very low. If the cat is both unattractive and disabled, I believe almost no one would want such a cat. However, this tortoiseshell cat named Liu Xiaomao was so lucky to be adopted, although the process was a bit tortuous.

At first, the woman saw it huddled on the street, its helpless eyes made people feel distressed, so she took it home and named it Liu Xiaomao.

After returning home, the woman found that the cat could not stand on its hind legs. She took her to the hospital for examination and found out that the cat had problems with its lumbar spine and pelvis, and that the cat's rear half was paralyzed for life. The doctor at the time recommended euthanasia.

The cat's physical condition was unexpected by the woman, but she was unwilling to give up this little life and finally decided to adopt it.

Then the problem came. The tortoiseshell cat’s appearance was not pleasing to the eye, and the latter half of its body was paralyzed. As a result, the woman’s family strongly opposed keeping the cat.

The paralyzed cat works hard to catch mice and uses its strength to prove the value of its existence.

The cat seems to know that its owner is under pressure from the whole family for it, so in order not to embarrass its owner, it should do something.

Since mice appeared in the house from time to time, that day, the woman heard a mouse barking again. When she was worried about how to catch it, the cat actually crawled towards her with a mouse in its mouth. Cat: Mom, look, I caught this. As long as I am here, there will be no more mice in our house!

The woman was very excited. Even though the cat was paralyzed, it could actually catch mice. This proved that it was not just a freeloader at home.

It was precisely because of the paralyzed cat’s strong and optimistic attitude that the woman’s family admired it. They had no reason to reject a cat that could catch mice.
